Being the lead agent in establishing Cyprus as a world-class investment destination, Invest Cyprus proactively promotes the enhancement of the country’s competitive environment, advocating reform and maximising FDI, for the economic and social benefit of Cyprus. In close collaboration with all government authorities, public institutions and the private sector, Invest Cyprus is the investor’s first point of contact.

Invest Cyprus is a member of the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and the Mediterranean Investment Network, ANIMA.

Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO)

The Cyprus Tourism Organisation (CTO) is a semi-governmental organisation under the responsibility of the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Tourism. CTO was established and operates according to the provisions of the Cyprus Tourism Organisation Law of 1969–2005 and the related Regulation on Structure and Terms of Employment and Administration and Finance. CTO operates offices both in Cyprus and abroad. The Head Offices are based in Lefkosia (Nicosia) while there are Regional Offices in other cities and areas across the island - Lefkosia (Nicosia), Lemesos (Limassol), Larnaka (Larnaca), Agia Napa, Protaras, Pafos (Paphos), Kato Pafos (Kato Paphos), Germasogeia, Platres and Polis Chrysochous. There are also six inspector’s offices operating in Lefkosia, Lemesos, Larnaka, Pafos, Agia Napa and Polis Chrysochous.

The main pillars of the Press and Information Office mission, as the Communication Authority of the Republic of Cyprus, are, the effective communication between the public and private sector, political structures and citizens, and the promotion, at the same time, of the Government’s work, principles and priorities. The PIO’s team creates, coordinates and implements innovative communication strategies based on large-scale behaviour change campaigns. The government’s messages are promoted via multi-lateral communication campaigns through the press and mass media, digital and social media, international media and audiovisual networks, relations with stakeholders and organizations, events, publications, European and international relations. The Press and Information Office, as a trusted partner of both the society and the Government, produces results that directly and positively impact both.

Its services include the coordination and running of conferences, seminars and commercial exhibitions, business media publishing and human resources consulting.
